/ water
Besides the conventional physical–chemical treatment processes like
flocculation, sedimentation, and sand filtration the following special technologies
are applied for potable water reclamation:
C-MEM
C-MEM is an ultra- / micro-filtration technology for the total separation
of suspended solids and high rate elimination of bacteria and germs.
Furthermore, it can be applied for the separation of powdered activated carbon
as well as precipitation and flocculation products of all kinds so that it
is a most suitable technology for the treatment of groundwater, surface water,
karst water, and for the pre-treatment in reverse osmosis plants.
C-FLOC
C-FLOC is a contact flocculation technology for high rate flocculation and
sedimentation of suspensions, which features the use of contact sludge and
several parallel flocculation reactors.
